On February 27th, the horse impressed in a dirt trial over 1000m at Conghua, leading comfortably to win easily. Seven weeks prior, it ran disappointingly over a Sha Tin dirt mile, settling well but lacking a strong finish; beaten two and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. This time switching to Happy Valley sprinters for its debut distance, the horse will carry an additional three pounds, faces an unfavorable track and trip combination, lacks a noticeable finishing kick, and trainer-jockey synergy appears limited, resulting in low expectations.
