MACANESE MASTER

On March 3rd (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1), the horse travelled along the rail and took the lead to finish strongly. A recent winner, four weeks ago over the same distance it showed impressive form leading throughout for a victory. One barrier trial has been completed showing improvement. This distance has yielded two previous wins with good sectionals, sufficient early speed to contest for position actively, among the highest-rated horses in this race. Trainer and jockey are working well together and the horse continues to show progress in its condition. However, it will carry eight pounds more this time and drew a less than ideal barrier; finishing kick has yet to be demonstrated, but still possesses potential for victory.
