Four weeks ago, this horse ran a solid race over a Happy Valley sprint distance, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a consistent pace but gaining ground slowly towards the finish. In a subsequent trial over Happy Valley 1200m, the horse faced unfavorable conditions and lacked a strong finishing kick; the trainer-jockey combination wasn’t particularly harmonious. However, benefiting from a three-pound weight reduction and proven form over this distance in the past, opportunities may still arise.
