LUCKY BLESSING

On March 5th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1), the horse took an active lead and maintained it comfortably. Seven weeks ago, over the same distance, performance was poor; a slow jump resulted in settling towards the rear, with a steady pace throughout and unremarkable running style. He finished reasonably close, beaten two and a half lengths, showing potential. A recent barrier trial indicated improvement. Current form doesn't appear ideal, and a hold-up tactic may leave him unable to mount a strong finish. However, given his past record over this distance and acceptable section times in the same group, he shouldn’t be discounted.
