On March 5th (dirt trial 1200m: 2-2-2), the horse showed good speed on the straight, not fully extended. On March 13th (Happy Valley turf trial 1700m: 2-2-2-4), he maintained a steady pace throughout but lacked a strong finishing kick. Seven weeks ago in a race over the same distance, he ran well with an early lead and finished fourth, beaten by only one length – demonstrating good potential. Two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. Despite fifteen previous attempts over this distance resulting in losses, his current time is respectable within the group, providing him with the opportunity to challenge for a place.
