SIR CHARGE

On March 10th (dirt trial 1050m, running positions 2-3-3), the horse showed determination in third place despite being overlooked. Three weeks ago, it ran disappointingly over a Happy Valley 1200m, taking the lead but maintaining only an even pace throughout with unremarkable performance. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Another Happy Valley sprint trial revealed a four-race losing streak at this distance; unfavorable conditions and a poor draw hindered its finishing kick, and there doesn't seem to be strong synergy between trainer and jockey. Although benefiting from a two-pound weight reduction and acceptable time figures, it is still considered a low probability contender.
