Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a straight course race, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with an even pace throughout. Returning to Happy Valley over a short distance, its time figures were weak and showed no significant finishing kick. The trainer-jockey combination isn't particularly strong, however, it benefits from a two-pound weight reduction and a favorable barrier draw this time, making it a contender for a place.
