Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf track, slow to jump and settling at the back of the field. It maintained a consistent pace throughout but only made gradual progress in the final stages. Returning to dirt over a mile this time, it will carry an additional two pounds. This horse has failed to win in three previous attempts over this distance, lacking a strong finishing kick, and trainer-jockey combination is not ideal. However, its ability to take the lead early and a favorable race setup suggest it could be a longshot contender.
