Fourteen days ago, this horse ran a disappointing race over a Happy Valley mile, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. Maintaining an even pace throughout, the performance was unremarkable and resulted in a significant defeat. In a recent dirt mile trial, times were comparable within the group but showed limited finishing kick. The trainer-jockey combination isn’t considered particularly strong, however the horse managed to secure a good position tracking the leaders and has an advantageous barrier draw. Overall, not considered a leading contender for this race.
