Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly in a dirt 1200m race, finishing towards the back and weakening at the end. In a subsequent dirt mile trial, it was his first attempt at this distance and didn’t perform impressively in terms of time. The horse is at a disadvantage regarding the draw, and the trainer-jockey combination isn't particularly strong. However, he clearly prefers to run from behind and possesses the strongest finishing kick in his class; a one-pound weight reduction offers little advantage this time.
