March 24th’s dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse track close to the rail and take an early lead, extending well down the straight. Three weeks prior over the same distance, it ran a respectable race settling comfortably and maintaining pace towards the front with a good finishing kick. It was beaten two and a half lengths, demonstrating solid form. A subsequent barrier trial showed improvement. Facing its next start in the same class, it recorded the fastest time of its group and is expected to secure a forward position. Possessing the strongest finishing kick within the group, it’s highly rated overall in this field. Pre-race preparations are complete. Despite carrying 10 pounds more this time, a potentially unfavorable barrier and a lack of notable trainer/jockey synergy, the horse is considered a good pairing option.
