On March 19th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse settle second, failing to sustain momentum in the straight. Four weeks prior, it ran a disappointing race over 1200m at Happy Valley, slow to jump and settling towards the rear throughout with an even pace. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Returning to dirt over 1200m, the time figures were weak and its positioning is unfavorable. Finishing kick was not prominent, and trainer-jockey synergy hasn't been notable, despite an advantageous draw and good gatework preparation; however, expectations remain modest.
