Seven weeks ago over the same distance, a strong performance securing second place, beaten by half a length. Showed slight improvement in the latest barrier trial. Has previously recorded two wins over this distance, with competitive times within the group. Expected to secure a forward position, and rated as the strongest contender in this race based on current ratings. Horse, jockey and trainer appear to have a good understanding, recent trial form is positive but faces a 2lb weight increase and may lack a strong finishing kick. Still considered a leading chance.
