TACTICAL VICTORY

Four weeks ago, over Happy Valley 1200m, this horse performed poorly, missing the break and settling towards the back. His finishing speed weakened significantly resulting in a defeat. Switching to dirt over 1200m, this was his first attempt at the distance and he didn't show impressive timing. The situation wasn’t favorable, requiring a hold-up tactics and lacking the finishing kick of rivals. Trainer/jockey combination hasn't demonstrated strong synergy, however, an advantageous barrier draw and a 5lb weight reduction offer some hope for this race.
