On March 19th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse lead early but faded in the final two furlongs. Five weeks prior, in a straight course race, performance was poor; settled well but weakened considerably at the finish and trailed home. A subsequent barrier trial showed it unable to keep pace with others. Returning to class this time, it will race over 1200m on dirt and carries an 11lb penalty. It has yet to win in three attempts at this distance, and its finishing kick is unremarkable. Jockey/trainer combination isn’t ideal, although it possesses good early speed and draws a favorable barrier. It doesn't seem to have any clear advantages.
