March 19th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse jump awkwardly but quickly settled into a forward position with consistent pace (5-3-1 sections). Three weeks prior, over the same distance, it delivered a strong performance, settling towards the rear and maintaining a steady rhythm before making up ground in the final stages to finish second, losing by two and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. The horse has recorded two wins over this distance previously, boasting the best time figures within its class. An advantageous barrier draw is in its favour; it exhibits the strongest finishing kick among its competition and is amongst the highest-rated contenders for this race. The jockey possesses a good understanding of the horse’s temperament, trainer-jockey synergy is reasonable and current condition continues to improve suggesting a strong chance of extending its winning streak.
