SUPREME MASTERMIND

Two weeks ago, this horse ran disappointingly over a Sha Tin 2000m course, settling in a good position tracking the leaders but weakening significantly in the final stages. Now stepping up in class to race over a Happy Valley mile, this will be its first attempt at the distance and is considered unfavourable. Likely to race from behind, a strong finishing kick may be lacking against its rivals. The trainer-jockey combination isn't ideal, although the barrier draw is advantageous and its sectionals are reasonable. It doesn’t appear to have a clear tactical advantage.
