SUPERB KID
Horse analysis
Two weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1600m, the horse performed poorly, slow to jump and settled at the back of the field. He made a mid-race move, chasing down the leaders in the final two sections with a consistent pace throughout but showing unremarkable progress. Switching to Happy Valley mile this time, it's a first attempt at this distance and the configuration is unfavorable. Jockey-trainer combination isn’t ideal, however it benefits from a hold-up tactic and possesses the strongest finishing kick in the field with acceptable time figures. Not considered a top pick for this race.
