Two months ago, a poor performance over Sha Tin 1600m saw the horse settle towards the rear with an even pace throughout. It returned to Happy Valley over a mile, where it boasts three wins in three starts; its trial times were respectable within the group and drew a favorable barrier. Overall assessment places it among the leading contenders. The jockey has a good understanding of the horse, however, needs to carry two pounds more this time which doesn’t favour its chances, and a strong finishing kick hasn't been evident yet. Still considered competitive for victory.
