On March 24th (turf trial, 1000m: 1-1-1), the horse took an active approach and ran straight to the finish. On March 14th (Happy Valley barrier trial, 1000m: 1-2-2), he settled comfortably while pushing forward. Two months ago in a Sha Tin turf race over 1200m, this horse performed well, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and finishing fourth, beaten by half a length only. Two barrier trials have shown improvement. Switching to Happy Valley over 1200m now for his debut at this distance, with reasonable times from fellow contenders, he is expected to secure a forward or favorable position. Trainer-jockey combination appears harmonious, the horse maintains consistent form and despite potential concerns regarding distance suitability or finishing kick, he's likely being entered as a race preparation run."
