Three weeks ago, this horse performed very disappointingly in a Sha Tin turf 1600m race; he missed the start, settled towards the rear, and maintained a steady pace throughout with a mediocre run. Following a class drop in his last outing, he returned in a dirt mile trial. Stepping up to this race with an 8lb penalty and facing an unfavorable draw, he lacks a notable finishing kick. While he is a two-time winner of this distance and has shown decent time figures, his chances remain slim.
