Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a 1800m dirt trip; despite settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace, the performance was unremarkable. In a recent dirt mile trial, he carried an additional 3lb and showed a slight lack of finishing kick. While the partnership between trainer and jockey has not been particularly impressive, he possesses genuine early speed and has won twice over this course/distance, making him a horse to watch.
