Four weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over Sha Tin turf 1400m; it failed to jump well and settled towards the rear, making steady ground through the final stages but ultimately finishing well beaten. Returning in a lower class this time, it recently worked over a mile on the dirt but showed nothing impressive. Carrying a heavy 16lb penalty this race puts it at a significant disadvantage; settling back, its finishing kick may not be sufficient to compete with rivals. Given the lack of synergy between trainer and jockey, despite having two wins at this distance and the jockey's familiarity with the horse's temperament, it is not a recommended selection.
