10/4 (Conghua turf trial 1400m: 6-5-5-5) pushed along with purpose, closing strongly late and still looking to have more to give. 27/3 (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 5-5-2) eased along, gaining momentum to close in late. 16/3 (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 5-3-5) drifted wide during the run, seemingly underperforming. 27/2 (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 9-6-7) used as a follower to gain fitness. 18/11 (Dirt trial 1200m: 6-7-5) drifted wide, showing an impressive late surge. 4/11 (Dirt trial 1200m: 5-4-5) drifted wide and chased from a difficult position. 21/10 (Dirt trial 1200m: 7-7-6) asked for effort at the turn, showed little change in momentum. 6/10 (Dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-7) tracked wide, used for conditioning. Returning from a long layoff in his first run of the season; he performed excellently over this Sha Tin turf 1600m course last December, settling mid-pack with a steady pace and picking up well late to win. A recent trial in Barrier 8 showed slight improvement. Another turf trial over 1400m—a distance where he has prior success—produced a respectable time. Drawing an ideal gate and being among the highest-rated runners, the stable is prepared and highly motivated. However, carrying a 10lb penalty and facing a slightly unfavorable tactical situation may be challenging; if held up late, he may struggle to catch the leaders, though he remains in contention for victory.
