POWER PATCH

Trial on 21/4 (Dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-4) with a steady pace but no acceleration seen. Trial on 9/4 (Dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-2) with a sharp burst and strong finish. Trial on 19/3 (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 2-2-2) with an aggressive run, but the pace was not strong. Two months ago in a similar race, the performance was disappointing; slow start, running towards the rear with an even pace throughout, resulting in a poor finish. Having completed three trial runs, there has been slight improvement. This time the horse carries an extra pound; its recent timing hasn't been outstanding, and its circumstances are unfavorable with a poor draw. The final burst of speed is slightly less impressive, and the jockey-trainer partnership hasn't been highlighted. However, considering its recent runs have been decent, it should not be overlooked.
