21/4 (Dirt trial 1200m: 5-3-2) ran on the outside rail, taking second under strong pressure. On 9/4 (Dirt trial 1200m: 7-7-5) he looked for daylight on the straight, recovering significantly. On 24/3 (Turf trial 1000m: 10-11-10) he gradually moved to the middle section after four furlongs, but his run was average. On 14/3 (Happy Valley trial 1000m: 7-7-5) he drifted out in the final two hundred meters, making some headway. On 30/1 (Simulated turf trial 1000m: 7-7-4) he jumped awkwardly; under a strong drive, he was not far behind. On 12/1 (Simulated turf trial 800m: 8-8-6) his start was obstructed, and he was pushed up at the 300m mark, closing slightly. This is a debutant; he started last November after arriving in Hong Kong. He has run in six barrier trials, showing slight improvement. His stride is short and his footfalls are quick, but he is quite small; he should likely be suited to 1400m. In this debut race, Andrea Atzeni is the main jockey and will not ease up; caution is advised.
