Four weeks ago, this horse performed reasonably well over a Happy Valley 1200m trial; he was slow to break but settled back, maintaining a steady run before gradually closing in in the final stages. Fortunately, he was not heavily weighed and finished only a half-length behind. In his last run over Sha Tin 1200m, he will carry two extra pounds this time. The current conditions are slightly unfavorable due to the poor draw, and his closing kick is somewhat weaker. However, given his previous two wins on this course and a respectable time figure, he should not be overlooked.
