Eight weeks ago, he performed very poorly in a dirt mile race; he was slow coming out of the gates, tracked the leaders, and his finishing burst weakened, leading to a heavy defeat. After two more trials, there has been slight improvement. Running off the job in Happy Valley over a mile this time, he carries 18 pounds more weight. His time performance hasn't been outstanding, and the circumstances are unfavorable; his finishing kick is not prominent, and the jockey/trainer combination isn't ideal. While he has won twice in this distance with favorable draws, his chances remain low.
