Four weeks ago, he ran alongside in a very strong performance, showing good acceleration to finish second, beaten by just half a length. Having only completed one trial session, the preparation is still insufficient. The time metrics are acceptable, and his closing speed is the strongest in the field. The jockey has a slight understanding of the horse's temperament; even if he carries two extra pounds this race, faces slightly unfavorable conditions, and the jockey/trainer partnership isn't perfectly aligned, he is best suited as a pace-setter in this race.
