Last time out, the horse performed reasonably well in a race with this field. He was slow to get going from the starting gate, saving ground and tracking in the rear, maintaining a steady pace throughout. He made up considerable ground in the final stages. Despite being at a disadvantage in terms of track position, and connections not looking perfectly aligned, his closing speed was the strongest among his group, and his time figures were acceptable; he must be watched.
