Three weeks ago, the horse ran a disappointing race over 1200m on dirt; he was slow to jump, drifted wide in the rear, maintained a steady pace throughout, showed an unimpressive run, and finished heavily beaten. In his last start, he ran over 1200m on Happy Valley turf, this time carrying twenty pounds more. His closing speed was slightly inferior, and the jockey-trainer combination did not appear particularly in sync. However, he possesses the ability to break from the gate and has won twice previously, although he hasn't had the chance to shine yet.
