Five weeks ago, this horse performed reasonably well in the same race. He was slow out of the gate and stayed back, progressing steadily throughout the run, gradually regaining lost ground in the final stages. Fortunately, he was not too far behind and only finished two and a half lengths off the winner. He has lost all five of his last races; due to time differences in this group, the situation is unfavorable. When running from the rear, his finishing kick may not match that of his rivals, and there is no notable synergy between the jockey and trainer; expectations should be kept low.
