Fourteen days ago, the horse had a poor showing over 1200m on Happy Valley turf; he was slow out of the gate, tracked from behind, maintained an average pace throughout, and gradually closed in at the finish. Fortunately, he was not far back, finishing beaten by two and a half lengths. His subsequent debut over a mile on Happy Valley turf did not suit his running style, and the draw was unfavorable; however, maintaining a late run allowed him to show some threat in his finishing kick with an acceptable time performance, and should not be underestimated.
