Three weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a Sha Tin 1600m race on the turf, tracking well but fading in the final stages to finish badly. In his last start, he tried over 1800m on the Sha Tin turf and won twice. His time figures are respectable and his draw was favorable; his closing speed in the group was strong, placing him among the top contenders overall heading into this race. Even with an extra 18 pounds to carry and unfavorable circumstances, he is not without a chance.
