PERFECT PAIRING

Three weeks ago, the horse performed very poorly in a Happy Valley 1800m race on turf, being slow coming out of the gate and finishing in the rear with an average pace throughout. He managed to slowly close in during the final stages but was ultimately beaten several lengths. Running back over 1800m on Sha Tin turf, the horse has lost all four recent races; there is no apparent synergy in its form. When running in the rear and competing, its finishing kick may not match that of its rivals. The jockey and trainer do not appear to have a great rapport, but given the advantageous draw position and decent race timing, it could be considered as an upset ticket.
