Last ran winner showed excellent form over a Happy Valley route three weeks ago, tracking well and maintaining his position throughout before gradually closing in to win. He previously ran over 1800m on Sha Tin turf; this time he carries four extra pounds. Having lost all three previous runs, his timing has not been outstanding, the form is unfavorable, the draw is poor, and he lacks a notable finishing kick, making it difficult to expect much.
