Four weeks ago, this horse performed reasonably well over a Happy Valley mile, finishing strongly from the rear with a decent finish. Fortunately, he wasn't too far behind, losing only two and a half lengths. Switching to Sha Tin over 1800m for the first time, the distance did not suit him, and the prospects were not favorable. Racing from the rear in a prolonged contest, his finishing kick may not match his rivals. The jockey and trainer synergy was also not ideal; fortunately, the draw was acceptable and the sectional times were adequate, so a lack of performance is not surprising.
