Four races ago, this horse performed reasonably well in a straight race, settling nicely near the front to finish fourth. He subsequently tried on Sha Tin turf over 1200m, where his positioning was not ideal and his closing speed was slightly inferior; the jockey-trainer combination did not appear perfectly synchronized. However, he managed to make a strong move and has shown previous ability in this trip, so some lack of performance is not surprising.
