Ran a 1000m turf barrier trial on May 26th (running position 7-7-6) with a steady pace, little variation. On August 5th (1000m Happy Valley turf barrier trial: 8-7-6), the start was average, running wide before making a move that drew interest. On October 4th (1200m Sha Tin turf barrier trial: 7-7-8), the horse deliberately took a wide path, tracking back to finish. On March 27th (1200m Sha Tin turf barrier trial: 10-10-9), the start was slightly slow, but responded well to a slight chase. On March 16th (1000m Sha Tin turf barrier trial: 6-7-5), the horse moved up within the pack, performing conventionally. On February 27th (1000m Sha Tin turf barrier trial: 10-10-1), it maintained the lead before pulling back, showing a noticeable difference in effect, finishing victorious after surging late. On June 2nd (1000m Sha Tin turf barrier trial: 1-4-7), it took the lead mid-pack but slowed down quickly in the last 300m. This is its debut as a newcomer, beginning training at the end of November last year after arriving in Hong Kong. It has completed seven barrier trials with acceptable performances; its stride is slightly high, and its footfalls are relatively slow. It shows willingness to chase but lacks significant acceleration, suggesting it suits a mile distance better. Given this is its first run here, observing an initial race would be advisable.
