LEAN FLYER

On May 26th, in a 1200m dirt trial (running position: 1-1-3), the horse showed excellent speed, taking a strong third place. On July 5th, in another 1200m dirt trial (running position: 1-1-1), it led from the start to the finish. On April 14th, in an 800m turf trial (running position: 7-5-4), it sought cover in the early stages, quickening around the second bend, showing responsive movement. This is a debutant; training commenced in mid-February after arriving in Hong Kong. After three trial runs, there has been improvement. The horse's stride is slightly high, but the footfalls are quick, indicating early speed. It shows promise in short-distance races, with better long-term prospects over 1400m and further. Given this is its first race, it warrants being kept back in the field.
