COLOURFUL GAN

Five weeks ago, the horse ran impressively in the same race. Although it was slow coming out of the gate and conserved energy, its pace was steady throughout, and it managed to regain some ground in the final stretch, finishing as a runner-up. Fortunately, the distance was not too far beyond its capabilities, and it was beaten only two and a half lengths. Having lost all three previous races in this campaign, the horse's time figures are weak, and its tactical position is somewhat disadvantaged. Its late closing speed was slightly inferior, and the jockey-trainer combination was not ideal. However, with an advantageous draw and a pound weight reduction this time, it remains a low-chance contender.
