CHARMING LEGEND

Four weeks ago, the horse performed disappointingly over 1400m on Sha Tin turf; it was slow to break, ran from the rear with an even pace throughout, and showed a sluggish run. Making a comeback, it switched to Happy Valley over a mile for its first attempt at this distance; the sectional times were acceptable, and it possessed enough early speed to aggressively challenge for position. Its finishing kick is second to none in the field, and the jockey's style complements the horse's ability. Despite needing to carry an extra sixteen pounds this time and the course not being ideal, it should be used as a supporting runner in this race.
