Five weeks ago, the horse performed excellently in this same race. Though slow to get away from the gates and settled mid-pack, its pace was consistent throughout, gradually closing in in the final stages to place second. Fortunately, the margin lost was small, only a half-length. This time it carries two pounds less, is grouped reasonably with the field, and has an ideal draw. Based on ratings, this group appears to be the strongest in the race today; the jockey and horse combination is well-suited, and it is expected to achieve another placing.
