Four weeks ago, this horse was very disappointing in the straight race; he didn't break quickly from the gate and ran towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace throughout before slowly closing in at the finish. He subsequently tried Sha Tin over 1200m, which was his first attempt at this distance, where the circumstances were somewhat disadvantageous and his draw wasn't ideal. The synergy between the jockey and trainer isn't particularly strong, but if he maintains a rearward running style, his closing run against competitors in the same group should be strong and suitable for the distance; he cannot be overlooked.
