Fourteen days ago, this horse performed reasonably well in a dirt 1200m trial. He was slow to break, ran from the rear with a steady pace, and gradually closed in during the final stages. Fortunately, it was not too far behind, finishing only three and a half lengths off the lead. In his last run on Sha Tin turf over 1200m, he lost all three races, putting him at a slight disadvantage. His finishing kick was somewhat lacking, and the jockey-trainer combination was not ideal. However, his time was acceptable, so it is not surprising that he showed some areas for improvement.
