On 18/6 in a dirt trial over 1200m (Running positions: 6-6-6), the horse started slowly and maintained a steady pace through the first two sections without significant changes. Four weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf sprint over 1200m, the horse performed creditably. Though slow coming out of the gate and running from off the pace, his pace was even throughout, gradually closing in towards the end. Fortunately, he wasn't too far behind and finished beaten three and a half lengths. After another trial run, the horse did not show much promise in the barrier trial. Trying a Sha Tin turf event over 1400m this time, it was his first attempt at this distance and the trip did not suit him; his timing performance was unremarkable, giving him an unfavorable position. If he adopts a trailing running style, his late closing speed may not be enough to challenge rivals. The jockey and trainer coordination was not ideal; betting against him is recommended.
