Five races ago, he ran in the same race and was very disappointing. He settled well tracking the front runners and still showed some impetus in the final stages, finishing fifth. This time he has a record, and the group timing is acceptable with an ideal draw, allowing him to compete near the front. His late closing speed in this group is strong, so preparation must be serious; even if the jockey-trainer combination isn't ideal, this race is a good opportunity for him to gain experience/get started.
