LUNAR DASH

Five weeks ago, the horse performed reasonably well in a Sha Tin 1200m race. He was slow to jump, tracked the pace from behind, maintained an average cruising speed throughout, and gradually regained lost ground in the final stages. Fortunately, he wasn't too far behind, finishing just a half-length back. In his last start, he ran over 1400m on Sha Tin turf and is carrying an extra 19 pounds this time. His draw is not ideal, and his finishing kick was slightly lacking; however, possessing the ability to quicken and favorable race conditions suggest that some underperformance is understandable.
