Three weeks ago, the horse performed reasonably well over 1200m on Sha Tin turf; he was slow to leave the stalls, tracked the pace, maintained an average cruising speed throughout, and gradually recovered ground in the final stages. He then tried 1400m on Sha Tin turf for the first time at this distance, where the trip did not suit him well and his position was somewhat disadvantaged. The jockey and trainer coordination was not ideal, but he showed the strongest late kick in his group when tracking rivals, and his time was acceptable; he is not without potential.
