12/6 (Zonghua turf trial 1200m: mid-pack, stable pace) and 29/5 (Zonghua turf trial 1200m: took the lead, improved stamina). Two months ago, he ran very disappointing over 1200m on Sha Tin turf; trailing in the rear, his late pace weakened, resulting in a heavy defeat. Having run two more trials, there has been slight improvement. In his recent 1400m Sha Tin turf trial, he carried two pounds extra this time; the distance is not suited, and his position was unfavorable. His final sustained pace was somewhat lacking, and the jockey-trainer coordination was not ideal. Fortunately, his time in the group was acceptable, and morning work showed promise, so caution is advised.
